On New Year's Eve of her seventh year of marriage, Lin Wan caught her husband Chen Mo cheating with his first love and was pushed down the stairs—clutching the stomach-nourishing porridge she'd made for him for three years, she remembered how she'd given up her designer career and cut ties with her parents for this “perfect marriage,” feeling nothing but irony. In her final moments, a message popped up on her phone: “New Year Marriage Reset Plan activated. Would you like to go back 365 days?” When she opened her eyes again, she was back to last New Year's morning: the porridge was still simmering, Chen Mo's “overtime” call hadn't come, and her design drafts were still on her computer. This time, Lin Wan tore up the “virtuous wife” script: first, she reclaimed her design copyrights, then exposed the mistress's fake rich daughter identity, and watched Chen Mo kneel and beg her to stay. But when Gu Jingshen, the cold lawyer she never dared to approach in her previous life, appeared with her favorite sugar-fried chestnuts, Lin Wan realized that what was reset wasn't just her marriage, but her buried life.
