Down-and-out young man Lin Chuan inherits his grandfather's grave-keeping post in the suburbs, only to accidentally trigger the "Incense for Strength" system—burning incense for an unknown tomb grants him medical skills, for a hero's tomb gives him martial arts, and even burning paper for a stray cat's grave unlocks treasure-appraisal eyes! But just as things start looking up, a real estate developer arrives with thugs to demolish the grave area for a villa, even accusing him of "pretending to be a ghost to cheat money". To make matters worse, his ex-girlfriend Su Xiao, who has been missing for three years, suddenly appears—as a journalist investigating the "Gravekeeper Fraud Case"! While using system skills to defuse crises, Lin Chuan finds his grandfather's diary: beneath the grave-keeping post lies a WWII-era cultural relic warehouse, and his "system" is actually a "Guardian Pact" passed down for a century by his ancestors… When the excavator hits the first brick, Lin Chuan finally awakens—he doesn't "gain strength from incense", but "strength from guardianship"!
