Lin Wan, a descendant of the fox fairy, hides her identity and works as a lawyer in the city. But when she takes on a case of "hundred ghosts索命 in a haunted house", she encounters Gu Shen, a cold-blooded ghost hunter—one wants to "subdue ghosts to protect people", the other wants to "eradicate ghosts completely". From confrontation to forced cooperation, they discover a mysterious force manipulating the ghosts behind the scenes, and Lin Wan's fox core is the key to subduing the hundred ghosts. However, Gu Shen's family mission is precisely to "kill all fox demons in the world". When identity opposition collides with budding affection, and the幕后 villain's knife is aimed at them, can this "fox fairy × ghost hunter" pair break the situation? Choose family mission, or guard each other?
