Lin Xiaoman, an 18th-tier extra, is bound to a "Top Villain System" which requires her to complete 100 "villain tasks" to become a top star. But her soft personality always turns her "evil plans" into good deeds: trying to pour coffee on the female lead saves her from a falling object, stealing the male second's script leads her to find his missing grandma, and even "scheming" to embarrass the影帝 helps him resolve a PR crisis. Until police officer Su Mo targets her, suspecting she's doing "reverse hype". While tailing her, he catches her secretly delivering supplies to left-behind children. When the system's truth is revealed—all "villain tasks" are tests of her kindness—Lin Xiaoman not only achieves her rise to stardom but also uncovers the system's charitable secret with Su Mo, and they spark love amid constant misunderstandings.
