Lin Xiaoman, a new media editor trying to save on rent, rents a loft in the old town—only to discover her landlord is Gu Xingye, the top idol she’s admired for three years. To make it more absurd, Gu moves back as a "tenant" under the guise of "avoiding sasaeng fans". Thus begins their "fake co-rental" life: Lin has to help him hide masks, evade paparazzi, and pretend not to know him; Gu secretly revises her drafts, shields her from unwanted drinks, and even cooks warm porridge when she works overtime. When her fan identity collides with their cohabitation truth, and the stage’s glow meets everyday life, can this "idol-ordinary person" love cross the identity gap and turn "chasing stars" into "being together"?
