Su Wantang, the legitimate mistress of the Hou Mansion, just wanted a peaceful life, but was framed by her concubine Lin Shi and stepson: they forged evidence of her “murdering the heir”, stole her mistress seal, and even knocked her unconscious and threw her out. On the brink of death, she was saved by the late Old Madam's hidden guards, learning Lin Shi had long colluded with an outsider to seize the mansion's property! Three years later, Su returns with the Old Madam's will and proof of Lin's adultery and the stepson's embezzlement. When Lin provokes her in Su's red mistress gown, Su sneers and throws out secret letters—“The seal you stole was never the real mistress token!” The servants who once bullied her kneel trembling, the stepson begs for forgiveness, and Lin collapses in tears: “You should have died in the wilderness!” Su only holds her teacup, tilting her chin: “Now, it's your turn to kneel before me.”
