Lin Zhenguo, the retired head of the powerful Lin family, has been living incognito in an old street, running a noodle shop with his granddaughter Xiaotang to escape old enemies. Their quiet life shatters when Xiaotang stands up for a classmate and offends Zhao Chengyu—the son of Lin’s old foe, now a business tycoon. Xiaotang is framed for cheating (facing expulsion), and their noodle shop is marked for forced demolition. Staring at the dusty family emblem in his suitcase, Lin dials a number untouched for a decade: “Tell everyone, the old head of the Lin family is back to protect my granddaughter.” His former subordinates rally overnight, and as the business world trembles, behind it all is a grandfather who gave up his legacy for peace, now willing to risk everything to keep his granddaughter safe.
