Su Wan, a "scapegoat specialist" at an advertising company, just lost a million-dollar deal to a colleague's frame-up and caught her boyfriend cheating with her best friend. Drunk at a convenience store late at night, she's suddenly grabbed by a cute little kid—"Mommy, I'm here to bring you good luck!" The kid pulls out a glowing natural diamond and claims to be a little koi fairy from the Heavenly Lucky Star Pavilion, banished to the mortal world for secretly helping humans ward off disasters. He must help Su Wan, who's "doomed to bad luck," resolve her misfortune to return to heaven. Su Wan doesn't believe him at first, but the kid consecutively helps her win back clients, expose plots, and even reunite with Gu Jingshen, her first love who disappeared five years ago. When heavenly enforcers come to take the little koi fairy back, Su Wan realizes this "heaven-descended lucky star" has already become the light in her life. How will she fight to keep this "runaway little immortal"?
