In a modern city, Su Xiaotang has to replace her lazy, gambling-addicted brother as CEO Li Jingchuan's full-time assistant to pay off his debts—what she calls "taking my brother's place in the 'army'". On the first day, she messes up: shrinking Li's haute couture suit and accidentally bumping into him in his bathroom. Expecting to be fired, Li smirks: "Punish yourself by accompanying me to the dinner." After that, Li finds every excuse to "stick" to her: picking his ties, having breakfast together, even picking her up on a rainy night. The more Su tries to escape, the more Li chases her—until she sees surveillance footage from three years ago: she gave a stranded Li a cup of hot milk tea, and he's remembered her ever since. When her identity as a "fake assistant" is exposed, Li kneels down: "I've never been waiting for your brother. It's always you—the girl who gave me milk tea."
