Twin Bones Ablaze follows forensic doctor Shen Zhixia, who disguises herself as her twin sister Shen Zhiwei—a top-tier actress—after Zhiwei's apparent suicide. As she navigates the cutthroat entertainment industry to uncover the truth, she discovers her sister's hidden identity: an undercover journalist investigating the wealthy Lu family's dark secrets. Meanwhile, Lu Shiyan, Zhiwei's ex-boyfriend and the Lu family's leader, has long seen through her disguise. From mutual suspicion to joint investigation, they unravel a shocking revelation: the sisters' origin is tied to the Lu family's massacre two decades ago, and the killer's hand is already reaching for the "resurrected" "Shen Zhiwei."
