Ordinary workplace newbie He Miao fills in for her best friend and accidentally crashes into a private meeting of Gu Chenshan, CEO of Gu's Group. She breaks his late mother's ceramic memento and publicly calls him an "ice-cold, sharp-tongued tyrant." Expecting to be fired, she’s instead hired as his personal assistant—because the jasmine scent on He Miao matches his mother’s exactly. As they work together, Gu Chenshan’s "harshness" hides tenderness: he shields her from alcohol, teaches her client negotiations. He Miao also discovers this "domineering CEO" is afraid of the dark and secretly feeds stray cats. When Gu's Group faces an equity crisis, He Miao uses her e-commerce skills to turn the tide. From bickering foes to each other’s light—his starlight illuminates her growth, and her fresh green warmth thaws his winter.
