Lin Xiaoman is the famous "silly boy" of Taoyuan Village. His parents died early, and on his deathbed, his grandfather gave him a cracked jade pendant, saying, "When it lights up, you'll understand." Since then, he became even sillier—holding the pendant every day, having his pocket money stolen by the village bully, being laughed at by villagers, and even his crush Ah Xiu sighed that he was "too stupid." Until the bully tried to demolish Lin's old house to build a homestay. During the scuffle, the pendant suddenly burst into bright light—Lin Xiaoman's mind was flooded with divine medical inheritance! It turns out his grandfather was a hermit medical sage, and the pendant was a token to recognize its owner; his previous "silliness" was because the inheritance wasn't activated! After awakening, he saved the bully's father from a heart attack with silver needles, drove away the plague with mugwort, and even detected that Ah Xiu's cough was due to polluted well water... When the bully knelt down to beg for his son's bedwetting treatment, and Ah Xiu blushed while handing him a handkerchief embroidered with lotus flowers, Lin Xiaoman looked at the glowing pendant and finally understood his grandfather's "guardian" meaning—the "silliest" persistence is the greatest confidence of the whole village.
