During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the Three Boil Tea House in Shanghai was seemingly an ordinary neighborhood teahouse, but it was actually a secret liaison point for the underground anti-Japanese front. The teahouse owner, waiters, tea masters and even regular customers hid a group of undercover intelligence agents. Covered by curling tea smoke, they intercepted Japanese military secrets, persuaded puppet army officers to defect, exposed traitorous spies' separatist plots time and again, and brutally slapped those who betrayed their compatriots. When the head of the Japanese secret service set a trap targeting the teahouse, these ordinary townsfolk put down their tea cups, revealed their true identities and pulled off a breathtaking espionage victory amid swords and shadows, guarding the spark of anti-Japanese resistance in the rear area.
