Seven-year-old Lin Xiaoman, fostered in the countryside, gains the ability to understand animals after falling into water. Fierce wild beasts, once feared, now line up to beg her for help: a wolf cub trapped in poacher's traps, a mother bear cornered by mining sites, an endangered spirit bird... She saves the animals with her weak power, uncovers her own life secret while investigating the beasts' distress, and meets a mysterious young man guarding her. She embarks on a path of counterattack.
