Lin Wan, a long-suffering forensic assistant, endures years of hardship—only to face double betrayal on her engagement day: her fiancé cheats with her stepsister, and she’s framed for stealing evidence at work. Desperate, she discovers a mysterious "skin corpse" in the mortuary, clutching her stepsister’s exclusive necklace. To her horror, her three worst enemies—the cheating fiancé, vicious stepsister, and corrupt boss—are all linked to the human trafficking ring behind the corpse. Using her forensic expertise, Lin follows the corpse’s clues: she uncovers the victim’s identity while exposing her enemies’ crimes. Transforming from a doormat to a fearless advocate for justice, she takes down the villains, reclaims her life, and uncovers a surprising "redemption" hidden in the skin corpse’s truth.
