Lin Chuan, an ordinary employee, was cheated on by his ex-girlfriend Zhou Ya with his boss due to poverty, and publicly humiliated at a company dinner: "You can't even cook a bowl of noodles." Unexpectedly, Su Wanqing, the new colleague who has a crush on him, is a judge of the food festival. To help her out, Lin Chuan makes the lost "Jade Dew Noodles" on the spot, stunning everyone—he’s actually the heir of the retired "Kitchen God"! The former scumbag tries to curry favor but gets humiliated by Lin Chuan’s food industry rules. Su Wanqing finally reveals she’s long noticed his tenderness. Lin Chuan transforms from a "pushover" to a love-protecting dark horse, winning both food glory and love.
