Anti-narcotics officer Lin Chuan was framed by his superior Zhou Zheng and sentenced to life in prison. His younger brother "died accidentally" while trying to exonerate him, and his wife Su Xiao was forced to marry Zhou Zheng. Three years later, Lin Chuan receives an encrypted video from his brother in jail—his brother is alive and holds the core evidence of Zhou Zheng's drug trafficking ring! To clear his name and avenge his family, Lin Chuan engineers an escape. On the run, he meets Su Wan, a forensic pathologist (Su Xiao's younger sister) being hunted by Zhou Zheng. Together, they uncover the truth: Zhou Zheng has long infiltrated the drug trade into the police hierarchy, even using Lin Chuan as a "shadow scapegoat." When Lin Chuan finally secures the evidence, he learns that Su Xiao's remarriage was to hide his brother's whereabouts... An ultimate showdown between justice and betrayal is about to tear away the darkest facade!
