Lin Xiaoman, a rural guy fired from his job and dumped by his girlfriend, returns home with nothing but a sick old ox. His cousin mocks him as "a salted fish that can't turn over," the village bully tries to seize the ox to settle debts, and even the grandma selling braised vegetables sighs, "This kid is finished." But no one expects this old ox is a lost "Jinnan Yellow Ox" breeding bull—Lin makes his first fortune by breeding the ox, then starts a live stream selling organic beef jerky, turning the "ox IP" into a county-level brand. When he drives a Porsche back to the village, everyone who once looked down on him is stunned: his ex-girlfriend begs to reconcile with her child, his cousin brings cigarettes and alcohol to partner with him, and even the village bully curries favor to be a security guard. Best of all, he falls for Xia, the vet who helped him treat the ox—turns out the secret to an underdog's comeback is never waiting for opportunities, but turning the "bad cards" in hand into a royal flush!
