Su Xiaotang fought her way into a top law firm as an assistant just to follow Lin Shen, the "uncle lawyer" who helped her when she was young. However, her idol turned out to be a sarcastic old-fashioned man — he red-penned her proposals thoroughly, left her a hot coffee during overtime without saying "I bought it for you", and even when she was harassed by a client, he only said coldly, "Can't you handle such a small thing?" Until she decided to quit due to a misunderstanding, she accidentally found Lin Shen's case notes: every page edge had a sticky note with her profile from overtime, and every case she participated in had a line: "Xiaotang's ideas are smarter than mine back then". Worse, when she was targeted in client retaliation, Lin Shen stood in front of her and said firmly, "I'm her lawyer". It turned out his sarcasm was to help her grow, his coldness was to hide his feelings. After 52 episodes of unspoken emotions, they finally stood under the phoenix tree outside the court, hearing each other say, "I never stopped wanting to walk with you".
