Shen Xinglan, the seemingly idle prince, spends his days frequenting brothels and fighting crickets—all a cover to investigate the frame-up that ruined his family. But Su Wantang, the newly appointed female censor, is dead set on catching him for his “reckless ways,” showing up at his door again and again to “settle scores.” However, she accidentally catches him sneaking into the Censorate at night to steal confidential documents—revealing that beneath the playboy facade lies a master of lightness kung fu, hiding a ledger full of court corruption! Meanwhile, Prime Minister Qin Mo is plotting to install a puppet crown prince and usurp the throne. To clear his family’s name, Shen has no choice but to team up with his “arch-enemy” Su. He uses his “recklessness” as a smokescreen to scheme, and even sneaks into her room at night with her favorite osmanthus cakes to coax her help… As the wind of power struggles sweeps through the Golden Luan Palace, and their fake rivalry turns into undeniable attraction, can they unmask the mastermind in the treacherous court—and hold onto each other’s hearts?
