Su Xiaoli, a junior police officer stuck with trivial pet cases for three years, suddenly binds to a “Koi Detective System”—chasing a cat leads to a body bag, buying milk tea runs into a fugitive, even napping at work gives her dreams of victims’ pleas. Big case clues “come knocking” right at her. But Lu Jinchuan, the criminal investigation captain, sneers: “Is luck evidence?” What’s more shocking—every case pushed by the system ties to her parents’ unsolved disappearance a decade ago. She uses her “koi luck” to crack current crimes while following the “knocking clues” to dig up the truth about her parents. Turns out, “luck” was never random—it’s a伏笔 fate planted long ago.
