Lin Wan, a retired top investment queen, returns to her hometown as a "lazy sister" to comfort her lovelorn elder sister. However, troubles follow: her sister's hotpot restaurant is extorted by local thugs, her brother-in-law's company faces a cash crunch, and her sister is falsely accused of being a home-wrecker. When her family is in despair, Lin Wan drops her disguise—one call bankrupts the extorter, an investment saves the company, and the rumormongering account vanishes overnight. But just as she thinks she can stay hidden, her sister finds her heart surgery bill and cries: "Your 'business trips' were actually life-and-death struggles?" Meanwhile, Gu Huai, the cold lawyer who's been watching her, hands her a ring box: "Ms. Lin, let me be your backup this time."
