Genius painter Lin Shen lives in a gray world due to congenital achromatopsia. His peace is broken when color matcher Su Xiao stumbles into his studio—she mocks him for “painting oil despite being colorblind,” yet secretly helps him “perceive colors” by labeling paints with temperature and pairing hues with music. From bickering foes to mutual salvation, just as Lin Shen realizes his feelings for Su Xiao, she vanishes abruptly, leaving only a note with a rainbow: “I helped you find colors, but where’s mine?”
