Su Wan, who just returned from abroad, finds her grief-stricken father (still mourning his late wife) has grown overly dependent on the new nanny, Zhou Xiufen—a woman who always wears a kind smile, runs the house flawlessly, and even knows her father’s long-forgotten dietary preferences. But Su Wan senses something off: her mother’s relics gone from the drawer, her father’s suddenly revised will draft, and anonymous transfer records hidden in the nanny’s room… When she tries to warn her father, she’s accused of being “mean and suspicious.” It’s only when Zhou Xiufen’s “distant nephew” shows up demanding money—brandishing a “signed” huge IOU from her father—that Su Wan finally tears off the nanny’s gentle mask. All those acts of care? They were just traps set for her father’s fortune. A battle between family love and scheming begins. Can Su Wan uncover the truth and protect her father’s last bit of warmth?
