Lin Wan, a hardworking ad planner wronged at work, loses her job for taking the blame for her best friend and is mocked by her ex-boyfriend for "never being able to turn her life around." Just then, she reunites with Lu Jingchuan—the "little fat boy" she protected in high school—now a powerful investment tycoon. He barges into her life under the pretense of "repaying a favor": helping her retrieve a hijacked project, teaching her to fight back against workplace PUA, and waiting downstairs with hot porridge when she works overtime. But when Lin Wan thinks this is just "old classmate help," Lu Jingchuan takes out the paper crane she gave him in high school: "I didn't come back to repay a favor. I came back to say the 'I like you' I didn't get to say back then." The sweetness of a ten-year secret crush hides in her career turnaround—turns out, when the east wind rises again, you're the wind I most want to catch.
