The old waiting room in a Northeast Chinese town is like a "tin box full of stories": Lao Zhou, a sausage vendor saving for his critically ill daughter's surgery, bickers constantly with Wang Yi, a sharp-tongued but kind cleaner; Xiao Tang, a heartbroken college student, is stranded here after losing her phone, hiding in a corner crying secretly; A Jie, a young man hoping to "revitalize" the waiting room with live streams, is always scolded by Wang Yi as "unreliable". A misunderstanding about "urban management shutting down stalls" breaks the peace—Wang Yi secretly helps Lao Zhou renew his business license, Xiao Tang uses her last power bank to support A Jie's live stream, and through A Jie's lens, the aroma of Lao Zhou's sausages reaches his daughter's hospital bed. No dramatic plots, just the innate warmth of Northeast people, turning strangers' worries into the warmest daily life.
