Su Wan, a small assistant at an entertainment company, breaks into a wealthy party to save her drowning nephew and mistakenly kisses Lu Shiyan, a top-tier actor who just returned to China. She tries to run away, but Lu publicly declares her his "fiancée"—turns out he needs her to escape a family-arranged marriage. Meanwhile, Su is being framed by her scumbag ex-boyfriend and fake best friend: the friend steals her project, the ex spreads rumors that she's "clinging to rich people," and even Lu's "white moonlight" comes back to stir trouble. But they don't expect Su is a sharp-tongued fighter and Lu is a protective "jealous影帝 (actor)." Together, they expose hypocrisy,打脸 the scums, and even uncover the old case of Su's parents' death. When the fake kiss turns into true love, those who hurt them will finally reap what they sow under the spotlight.
