Lin Chuan, a regular office worker, stumbles upon his father Lin Jianguo's "life script" and learns that his seemingly unremarkable dad once gave up a CEO inheritance to save him, only to be cheated out of all savings by a friend and end up selling street snacks to pay for Lin Chuan's tuition in old age. Determined to rewrite his dad's "tragic ending", Lin Chuan becomes a "life strategist": he helps his dad see through the friend's business traps, turning a dying old machinery factory into a popular cultural and creative hub; meanwhile, he helps his dad reconnect with Su Xiaomei, the first love they lost due to a misunderstanding. As they work together, the once-estranged father and son finally resolve their long-standing conflicts. In helping his dad "counterattack", Lin Chuan also understands the love his dad hid in silence—turns out the most precious life isn't following a script, but the warmth of "revising" it with family.
