Depressed illustrator Su Wan hides in a Spring Mountain homestay to heal, accidentally stepping into the world of Lin Shen, who has guarded the mountain for ten years—he always picks up her blown-away sketchbooks on snowy nights, shields her from falling rocks, yet never mentions the yellowed old photos in the tree hole (relics of his late girlfriend). When Su Wan paints Lin Shen's hidden regret, and when Lin Shen finds the cancer label on her medicine bottle, the snow on Spring Mountain is melting visibly. They lick each other's wounds like two lonely beasts abandoned by the world, but as the spring snow melts easily, is their budding love a redemption or a fleeting illusion?
