Lin Wan flees to her hometown Chunshan after a career collapse, taking over her grandma's "Xuanheju" homestay. She runs straight into Jiang Ye, her first love who vanished seven years ago—now he's a "prickly" forest ranger guarding the mountains, even saying "long time no see" sounds like a threat. Just as old feelings stir, Lin Wan finds a letter her grandma hid under the pillow, which reads, "Don't hate Xiaojiang." Deep in Chunshan, the old apricot tree carved with "Wanwan & Yeye" slowly reveals the misunderstanding: Jiang Ye didn't leave out of cruelty—he was protecting grandma's secret and keeping Chunshan as a place she could return to. When truth shatters regret, can they make up for the unsaid "I've been waiting" in the warm spring breeze?
