On a quiet late-night rooftop, Lin Xing, clad in a well-worn hoodie, tugs fiercely at its neck drawstring while gazing at the full moon. She is spotted by Shen Yan, a passing photography student. Curious, Shen Yan notices Lin repeats this odd ritual every full moon. Under his prodding, Lin reveals her childhood belief: "Pulling the moon will keep those you love from leaving".
