Su Wan, the lowest servant in the Prime Minister's mansion, was framed by her legitimate sister Su Rou for a crime and thrown into a mass grave to feed wild dogs, only to be saved by a mysterious figure. Five years later, she returns as the Northern Town King—her once arrogant sister is kneeling at the palace gate begging to see the "Living Yama", her father who once turned a blind eye wants to recognize her as his legitimate daughter, and even the Crown Prince holds the half jade pendant she gave him, saying, "I've waited for you for five years." But Su Wan's knife is already at Su Rou's throat: "You made me bark like a dog back then; now it's your turn." She never wanted power—she just wanted to get back the humiliation inflicted on her. However, when the Crown Prince takes an arrow for her, she realizes what she truly wants is the boy who handed her a bowl of hot porridge on that snowy night.
