Gu Cheng, once the World Cup's "Golden Boot King," lost his left leg in a malicious car accident. He then hid in an old-town bike repair shop, too afraid to even watch football on TV. Until one day, Shen Xing, a beauty CEO in a high-end suit, blocked his door with 200 jin of gold bars—her team is Gu Cheng's alma mater team, now facing relegation to the second division due to a key player's suspension, and only Gu Cheng can be the "firefighter coach." But Gu Cheng had long sworn, "If I touch football again, I'll break my hand." Shen Xing then took out the accident's surveillance footage: the driver who hit him is the rival team's owner, smiling as he watches the alma mater team fail. "Either take the gold to save your alma mater, or watch your enemy crush your pride." When Gu Cheng reached for the old shin guard in his pocket, he realized—the champion fire hidden in his heart had never gone out.
