Lin Xiaoman, an overworked office drone, was scolded by her stingy boss until she cried at midnight—when a message popped up: "CEO Experience System Activated." She must solve Shengying Group's bankruptcy crisis as the "hidden CEO" in 7 days to become the real CEO; failure means a million yuan in debt. For survival, she forces herself to "pretend to be CEO": mixing up "strategic plan" with takeout notes in a board meeting, turning a rival's "talent poaching" into recruitment, even mistaking the cold Vice President Lu Jingshen's "termination letter" for a love letter. But Lu already saw through her act—he's been playing along because this flustered "fake CEO" is the savior he's searched for three years. When the 7 days end and Lin fears exposure, Lu takes out a real CEO appointment letter and smiles: "I'm done pretending too—I'm here to help you be the CEO."
