Su Wan, owner of a seaside homestay, has a rule—never ask guests about their "past journey". But she takes in Lin Shen, an amnesiac wandering painter covered in wounds. To her shock, his tide paintings match the old one she's hidden in a drawer for seven years. Lin Shen is haunted by nightmares: a rainy-night car accident, sleeping pills pressed to his lips, and a woman's voice saying "Don't remember me". When he finds the surveillance footage, he sees the driver is Su Wan—who "dared not ride an electric bike". Seven years ago, Lin Shen caused a drunk-driving accident. Su Wan took the blame and erased his memory with hypnosis. Her "don't ask the path" wasn't indifference—it was courage built with half her life: even trapped in the past, she wanted him to live as light without shadows.
