Su Xiao, a single white-collar worker, hires the kind-hearted rural nanny Aunt Chen to care for her seriously ill mother. To her surprise, Aunt Chen secretly moves her unemployed son, pregnant daughter-in-law, and preschool grandson into Su Xiao's two-bedroom apartment, claiming it's "to help take care of Mom." Su Xiao tolerates it repeatedly out of gratitude for Aunt Chen's devotion to her mother—until Aunt Chen says she'll bring her paralyzed mother-in-law from the countryside and repaints Su Xiao's second bedroom with cartoon walls for the grandson. When Aunt Chen's son asks Su Xiao for a "200,000 yuan loan" for his startup, Su Xiao finally realizes: this "family-like companionship" has long turned into an overstepping "takeover." How can she escape the moral blackmail and stand up for her boundaries?
