Lin Chuan, a frugal wage slave who counts instant noodle strands to save money, accidentally activates the "Anti-Spending System" after helping Su Wan, a beauty, fend off a suitor's forced wasteful spending spree. The system rewards him tenfold for resolving others' meaningless consumption—save 10 yuan for an aunt, get 100 yuan; refuse an unnecessary treat for a colleague, earn 500 yuan. The once penniless guy suddenly becomes rich via "anti-consumption". Su Wan, who thinks he's a hidden tycoon, approaches him to "leech off his wealth", only to find he's so stingy that he hunts for milk tea discounts and buys second-hand gifts for her. Amid the thrill of his counterattack with the system, the sweet-bickering romance with Su Wan, and the sabotage from Su Wan's rich suitor, can Lin Chuan protect his fortune and true love with his "anti-spending philosophy"?
