Lin Xiaoman, a rookie actress, finally gets nominated for the Golden Egret Award after three years. But the night before the ceremony, she snaps at her mom, a cleaning lady: "All my classmates bring celebrity family—aren’t you ashamed to show up in a janitor’s uniform?" Her mom, clutching her faded apron, whispers: "I won’t go." However, on the big night, the stage lights suddenly black out. Amid chaos, a figure in a cleaning uniform climbs the truss with tools and fixes the circuit in ten minutes. Checking surveillance, the host discovers the "cleaning aunt" is Lin Wan, a retired stage design legend from 20 years ago—she gave up her Lifetime Achievement Award to save the seriously ill Xiaoman, and now secretly works as a cleaner just to watch her daughter receive the award. When the host announces, "We’re presenting the Lifetime Achievement Award to Lin Wan," Xiaoman looks at her mom—dusty but glowing—and tears fall: the mom she thought was "embarrassing" has been hiding the most brilliant love.
