Lin Xiaoman, a deadbeat graduate, sets up a street fortune-telling stall to pay rent, only to trigger the "Justice Compass" system—every time he solves a problem for someone, he unlocks a new fortune-telling skill. On his first day, he just told a client "you’ll face danger today" when he witnessed a thief stealing. He accidentally helped Detective Su Xiao catch the thief and was given a "Crime Buster" banner by the victim! Since then, Lin Xiaoman is forced to embark on a "fortune-telling + solving cases" journey: helping an aunt find her cat leads to a fraud gang, and telling a white-collar worker's love fortune uncovers a workplace PUA case... The sarcastic Detective Su Xiao goes from "believing he's a con artist" to "actively seeking his help". They bicker while solving mysteries, and Lin Xiaoman's system skills become more powerful—being able to read minds and determine feng shui positions. But when he uses fortune-telling to help Su Xiao investigate her father's old case, he discovers that the "accident" from years ago is closely related to his system...
