Lin Guozhu, a retired criminal investigation team leader, is over eighty but still stands tall. He wanders the old street daily with a thermos that’s been with him for thirty years. When a delivery guy is scammed by a merchant, an elderly woman loses her savings to fake health products, or a young office worker is PUAed by their boss, Grandpa Lin uses his “old-school wisdom” to set things right—sometimes pulling out his old ID to calm the situation, sometimes using his past interrogation skills to expose scams. But recently, he discovers these “small injustices” are linked to the suspect in a cultural relic theft case that made him retire with regret… Each episode tells a story of fighting injustice, blending warm everyday moments with the passionate persistence of an old policeman.
