Lin Xiaoman, an overworked office drone, receives an anonymous "time capsule" that sends her back to college, binding her to the "Unfinished Love System"—her mission: "Make Lu Jingshen fall for you." In her past life, she loved him secretly for a decade but never confessed before he went abroad. The system’s missions are absurdly funny: smearing his suit with sweet chili sauce, spilling milk tea on his documents, jumping into his arms in fear during a horror movie. Yet Lu Jingshen doesn’t get mad—he wipes her mouth, saves her library seat, brings her late-night warm milk tea. On graduation day, Lu pulls out a photo of her feeding a cat freshman year: "I fell for you then, but I thought you’d never like me." Lin laughs through tears: "Our 'love' was never one-sided—we just both pretended not to hear, hiding 'I love you too' as a secret."
