Late at night in his repair shop, A Qiang, a mechanic exhausted to napping, is jolted awake by gangsters kicking the door—they demand “protection money” immediately. When A Qiang explains he can’t pay due to bad business, the gangsters flip his tool cabinet and crush the piggy bank with his daughter’s tuition—three months of his blood and sweat! The mild-mannered man snaps. He grabs a wrench to block the steel pipe swung at him, subduing the leader in seconds. The rest kneel and beg for mercy. But as A Qiang picks up the broken piggy bank, his hands shake: all he wanted was to raise his daughter in peace, so why even his sleep isn’t safe?
