Lin Xiaochuan, a skilled young chef, is invited to the Hou Mansion with triple pay to cook "recovery meals" for the wheelchair-bound young master. But as soon as he serves the first bowl of stewed chicken soup, he's stopped in the kitchen by Shen Lingyu, a female doctor in a green robe—turns out the young master's leg illness is a lie. Shen set a trap: whoever can make the young master eat will be her husband, to escape a royal forced marriage. And Lin's cooking just hit the young master's "cravings" hidden for three years. Caught between Shen's bold confession and the Hou Mansion's "fake illness" secret, Lin realizes he's been Shen's "prey" since the moment he stepped into the mansion.
