Su Xiaomo, nicknamed "Soft Egg" by neighbors since childhood, even let kids snatch his egg at breakfast—everyone thought he was a "soft tofu anyone could squeeze". Until a real estate bully drove a crane through the alley entrance—to demolish Granny Zhou’s old house, where the elderly widow (whom Su had cared for a decade) hid an unfinished sweater. When the crane’s cable was about to hook the beam, Su suddenly rushed forward, gripped the cable with his left hand, and with white-knuckled force, the cable snapped with a "click"! Who would have guessed this soft egg—too scared to step on an ant—was once a special forces "War God Who Breaks Steel Cables with One Hand", who went into hiding as a "soft egg" after developing PTSD from saving a comrade. Now, as the cable breaks, the "soft egg" shell cracks—he’s not just protecting the house, but the last bit of warmth in the alley that hasn’t been eroded by greed.
