Plumber Lin Jianguo accompanies his son Xiaoyu to meet the girlfriend's parents. As soon as he enters, he's ridiculed by the future in-laws for his "lowly job": "Our daughter is marrying an elite, not a poor plumber!" Even Xiaoyu's girlfriend frowns and moves away. Just as the father and son are about to leave with clenched sleeves, the villa door is suddenly kicked open—Su Wanqing, the billionaire female CEO, rushes in in high heels, holding a custom diamond ring, and kneels on one knee in public: "General Lin, I've been looking for you for ten years. Today, I finally dare to say: I want to marry you!" It turns out Lin Jianguo is a retired War God who was seriously injured while saving the kidnapped Su Wanqing a decade ago and has been living incognito ever since. Now that Su Wanqing is in power, she searched the entire country to find him. The in-laws collapse on the sofa instantly, and Xiaoyu gapes and tugs his dad's sleeve: "Dad, you used to say plumbing is a skill—turns out you were being modest?!" A reversal from "bottom-level commoner" to "top legend" slaps everyone in the face.
