Lin Wan is an independent designer with a dream of design. At the age of twenty, she helped Lu Zhao, a teenager chased by debt collectors, in an old alley. Ten years later, when they reunite, Lu Zhao has become a top investment banker who can turn the tide, but he still holds the youthful longing for her—he helps her resolve supplier difficulties but quietly signs the contract to retain her independent copyright; he stays up all night with her revising drafts but blows on the hot porridge before handing it to her when she collapses from exhaustion. Lin Wan once thought love meant “clinging and relying”, until Lu Zhao held her design gold award and said: “Your splendor has never belonged to anyone else. I just want to accompany you to see every blooming flower.” When an independent soul meets love that doesn’t plunder, every year of sweetness becomes the most precious medal for both.
