National hero Liu Changfeng has devoted ten years to rescue missions, unaware that his elderly mother suffers abuse from his sister-in-law back home. Rushing to her deathbed, he discovers her corpse in a miserable shack. An investigation reveals a horrifying truth: his sister-in-law withheld medical care and even removed the oxygen tube to seize the family property. Torn between his duty to the nation and the thirst for justice, Liu embarks on a covert mission. Gathering evidence in the shadows, he aims to expose the hypocrisy of blood ties and force the culprits to kneel at his mother's grave.
