Lin Xiaoman, an overworked office drone, picks up an injured "little black snake" outside her apartment after an all-night shift. She nurses it back to health—only for the snake to transform into Ao Chen, a cold, majestic Dragon Lord in black robes. He’s an ancient Ying Dragon, cursed to his animal form by enemies, and offers Xiaoman three "genie-like" wishes to break his seal.
