Lin Chen, a genius skilled in both martial arts and medicine, was taken to the mountains by his master as a child. On his 18th birthday, his master suddenly orders him down the mountain, leaving only the words, "Settle grudges and find your true self." Entering the city, he saves Su Wan, a wealthy heiress hunted by gangsters, with acupuncture, and teaches a lesson to bullies harassing an elderly man using Bajiquan. However, while seeking justice for the elder, he uncovers clues about his parents' murder: he is the only son of the Lin pharmaceutical family, which was wiped out by the Su family (Su Wan's family) and the underworld for the "Resurrection Pill" recipe! Even more shocking—his master was a witness! Caught between love and hatred, and hunted by a mysterious organization for the recipe, how will Lin Chen uphold his original heart while saving lives, avenging his family, and finding his roots?
