Lin Zhiyi saved half a year's salary to buy an engagement ring for his wedding, only to catch his fiancée Su Wan wearing it while fawning over his brother-in-law Lu Nanfeng in a coquettish way—turns out she'd long despised him for being poor and wanted to cling to the wealthy brother-in-law to become a rich lady. She even called him a "toad wanting to eat swan meat" and kicked him out. Heartbroken, Lin Zhiyi accidentally met Shen Xingyao, an independent designer who gave him hot cocoa during overtime and accompanied him to watch sunsets when he was down, making him believe in love again. When Lin Zhiyi was promoted to manager through hard work and had a stable relationship with Shen Xingyao, Su Wan showed up in tears—abandoned by Lu Nanfeng as a plaything, she begged Lin Zhiyi to take her back. His former sincerity was trampled, yet his current tenderness blooms. What choice will Lin Zhiyi make?
